Perpetual Trophy’s and Club Awards

On the 7th July GRPC held its AGM and Awards night at the Gawler Arms Hotel in Gawler.

The event was well attended with old and new members along with some of the club’s life members.A big thank you also goes out to our amazing coaching team for the 2018/2019 membership year team headed
by our wonderful Chief Instructor Mrs Dianna Birmingham.

The Joanna Mews Trophy – is presented to the rider who tries hard all year to succeed, displays good sportsmanship,

The Iris Stephenson Award -is awarded to the Most improved Novice for showing ‘discipline in oneself and pony’.

The Raphael Spirit of the Club Award -is awarded to a member of the Club, who epitomises the spirit of the Club. One who helps in any capacity and represents GRPC with enthusiasm and positively, without being asked.

Duell Chisholm Dressage Award  – Sponsored by the Bell/Piggot Family –
To  be presented to a rider who shows an interest in dressage. A rider motivated to improve horse and rider education through Clinics and Training.

Valache Park Trophy
The winner is between ages 10 -16 represents the club outside competitions on a regular basis, displays good manners and sportsmanship towards other riders, instructors, parents, officials at all club rallies and events
when representing the club. Treats their pony with respect and kindness at all times. Either takes care of their
own pony or assists there parents or helper at Rally Days and events

Eventing  Sportsmanship Trophy
For a rider who goes out and represents the club at ODE’s. Shows good Sportsmanship

State Representative – Awarded to GRPC members that have represented PCASA
at an Interstate Competition

Games Award Given to riders that have represented the Club at State Championships at games-
